I was speaking with a close friend of mine a few days ago and she was teasing me about the major strides I’ve made embracing more color in my wardrobe. You see, there was a time when I wouldn’t have even considered buying a shoe that wasn’t black or brown. Shocking, right?
These days, I sometimes have to edit my looks to avoid looking like a rainbow. So, if you are an “all black everyday” kind of woman, with baby steps, you too can be reformed. If you want to, that is.

Pretty dress and I like them with the pink flats. I'm obsessed with wearing black myself, so I understand the struggle. I've vowed not to buy any more black this season and the next. We'll see how that goes.
I love your colourful and bright outfits! 🙂

@Sing: Thanks! That's how I started too, with a commitment to stall new black clothing purchases. A new black item had to be super special for me to get it 🙂
@Mica: Thanks! I've grown quite fond of the bright colors, always wanting to wear them now.
It's so funny you said that, a year ago I was in the same place, black shoes, black separates, a monocrome girl. Since starting to read style blogs, I've got a new shopping rule. No black 🙂
I love the dress on you, it's absolutely amazing.
