Summer Stripes Suited for a Wintry Day

I purchased a strapless, A-line, stripe dress from Ann Taylor in the spring of 2010.  Since then, this dress has emerged as one of my favorite summer dresses.  It’s like a luxe jersey knit meets stripes and a perfect A-line silhouette.

I keep passing by the dress in my closet, wishing I could wear it now.  Today, though, I decided to pull out the dress and make it work on this cold day.

The dress is topped by a chunky knit, blue sweater that I bought in Old Navy yesterday for $3.50!  Old Navy is currently offering an extra 50% off clearance items.  This sweater, by the way, is also available in a few beautiful colorblocked combinations.
