Weekend Recap: Holiday Party Style

The holiday season is officially here!

I sported this look to a vegan holiday party this past weekend.  It was such a nice change to be able to eat everything available at a party.  You see, I’ve been vegetarian/pescatarian for over a decade, but I became vegan after realizing that I’m 100% lactose intolerant.  Now that I’m living dairy-free, I’ve never felt better!

Sweater—Old Navy; Skirt—c/o Loft, Tights—c/o Loft

Earrings—Kendra Scott ‘Danielle’, Ring—c/o Loft

Watch—MICHAEL Michael Kors via TJ Maxx

I’ve received a few questions about my lipsticks lately.  Thanks for noticing!  I used to be a bold eye shadow/nude lip kind of woman, but I’m now into bold lips and bare eyes.  Mac ‘Rebel’ lipstick  is my fall favorite, but I must now add Mac ‘Girl About Town’ lipstick (a fabulous fuchsia) to my list of favorites.  I’m wearing it above with the Mac ‘Beet’ lip pencil.

FYI:  I purchased the animal print sweater above using the Old Navy friends and family coupon (valid until 12/21).  It was about $18 after the 30% discount.

    @Amina: Aww how sweet! Thanks. I'm not surprised you love Rebel. I've always gone to the Mac counters with a list of your lipstick picks.

    @Gracielou: Thanks! Exploring vegan cooking is a lot of fun. There are so many blogs with great inspiration. I'm from the Caribbean, so I've been having fun making vegan alternatives to traditional island recipes.

    @Meli: Thanks! That Old Navy sweater actually made me return to the store for another one.

    @Melany: Thanks for stopping by!

    @CAPIS: Thanks!

    @Like Mousse Au Chocolat: Girl…they are some faves. I might need an alternative pair soon because these are getting worn out.
