So, I purchased this dress last weekend. I was mesmerized by the mixed media details—tiger eye print, sequined trim, exposed zipper at the back, and tweed skirt. Once I saw that it fit, I purchased it without hesitation.
It was on sale at that time for $77 in Macy’s. But, I combined a wow pass, and a few mall gift cards to bring the price down to $46. Then, during the One Day Sale, the dress was marked down to $44.
Now that I’ve tried it on at home, though, I noticed that the skirt is much much shorter than I recall. And, remember, I’m only 5’4″, so there really isn’t much skirt on this dress. Due to the length limitations, the dress may be going on the chopping block. I thought I’d share it anyway.
Love the dress? Check it out at Macy’s—Rachel Roy Anything Goes Dress.
My search for non-work dresses continues…
Have a good weekend!
I dont think its too short at all. Wear it with opaque tights and heels; and i think it looks great. You have nice legs – might as well show them off sometime.
Cute dress, very unique.
I'm also on a constant search for non-work dresses. It's tough lol! I love this dress though. The print is unique. Too bad that you're taking it back, because it's really cute. On a positive note, the tights help to detract from the length. Food for thought so that you keep it 😉

@Nylse: I appreciate the feedback! I was with you until the "nice legs" comment. LOL. Just kidding…not really…just kidding. Lol.
@Sing: That's definitely what attracted me to it. The multi media details are amazing.
@Janell: When I look into my closet on the weekends, I'm always stumped. I've got to expand my casual dress collection. Good point on the tights too! I still don't know though…
I actually bought this dress 2 months ago from Macy's in a size 10 for 44 bucks and also feel that the skirt is too short. Also, i'm a bit wider in the hip area and it has pockets there so i've decided to return it. It's too bad, when I first tried it on, I loved it.
