Fashioning the Flu

I’ve been trying to use mind over matter science all week to will my flu away.  But, darn it, I really have the flu. When I woke up today, I wanted to immediately roll back under the covers.

Unfortunately, I actually have to go out today and the last thing I’m interested in doing is getting dressed.  So, it’s looking a sweats day.  But, sweats can look chic, right?

With a little inspiration from the Dayquil I’ve been sipping, here’s what I’m wearing today.  A white camisole is paired with ponte knit leggings and topped by an open cardigan that matches the color of that icky stuff in the Dayquil bottle.  Red and purple suede shoes keep my feet covered and comfy.  I also pulled out a grey tam because I didn’t feel like doing anything to my hair.

Camisole—Old Navy
Leggings—Mossimo for Target
Cardigan—Mercer and Madison via Marshalls
Shoes—DVF Diane Von Furstenberg via Century 21
Hat—Forever 21
Bag—MICHAEL Michael Kors via eBay

    I'm loving the orange cardigan.

Just last night, I tried on a pair of ponte leggings purchased last year and yet to be worn. So comfortable!
