Summery Days

Summer is really really here now.  90 degrees and all.

The full skirt becomes a staple go-to piece for me every summer. The lightweight versions of these voluminous skirts are airy, versatile, and also flattering on those of us who are bottom-heavy.

Today’s look showcases one of my favorite full skirts. I purchased it at least 3 years ago in a Banana Republic Factory Store. You could have probably guessed it was older because if I had bought it this year it would likely be shorter. Seriously, what is up with the rising hemlines?

I went to the mall yesterday to pick up a lipstick (bust out) from the Mac Surf Baby Collection. Here is what I wore.

Tank—Mossimo for Target
Cardigan—INC via Macy’s
Skirt—Banana Republic Factory Store
Shoes—BCBG Paris via DSW
Belt—The Limited
Bag—Linea Pelle Perry Woven Tote
Sunglasses—Michael Kors via TJ Maxx

Thanks @Annie! The leather on these shoes are so delicate that they are showing all kinds of scuffs already. I am so mad at that.
