Face Off: Ann Taylor Colorblock Top vs Gap Colorblock Tee

Black and white is such an eye-catching, classic combination.  And, this spring, color blocked items are quite haute!  So, why not sport the classic black and white combo, but in a striking, graphic, color blocked top?

After an extensive search of online clothing stores, two black and white color blocked tops stood out to me.  One is by Ann Taylor and the other by the Gap.

Since I can’t afford to buy them both, I had a decision to make.  The choice was easy though.  I definitely like the look of the Ann Taylor top more than I do the Gap’s; but, I am not willing to pay $78 for it.  Furthermore, during the recent Gap Friends and Family Event, the Gap tee was only $9.09.  Can you say sold?

Here is the Gap tee styled for movie night last weekend.

You and I are on the same page regarding the price of a tee shirt, color block or not. The outfit is so cute on you. I think I like your shirt better.
