Spring Break Style V

So, today’s post is the final one in the Spring Break Style series. It would’ve been nice to go out with a bang, but I had to get dressed in a hurry to run errands today. But, who says last minute dressing can’t be chic?

I grabbed my new, lighter weight for spring, ponte knit pants ($19.99) and a teal tank ($9), both from Target.  A crinkle stripe jacket, two-toned flats, and a tan satchel complete the look.

Confession:  I used to gossip about people who wore leggings as pants and now I do it all the time now.  They are just so comfortable and easier to squeeze into than jeans.

Tank—Mossimo for Target
Pants—Mossimo for Target
Jacket—Loft
Shoes—Tahari via Marshalls
Bag—MICHAEL Michael Kors via eBay

For happy hour tonight, I pulled my red, seamed, pencil skirt with asymmetrical front pleats and a white tank. A print scarf, black blazer, and ankle boots add finishing touches.

Tank—Mossimo for Target
Skirt—The Limited (seamed petal skirt)
Scarf—Adrienne Vittadini via Filene’s Basement
Jacket—Banana Republic
Shoes—Franco Sarto via Marshalls

I saw that jacket at Loft yesterday, and you look a million times better in it than it looked on the hanger. I like the way you mixed up all the blues in that outfit.

Keeping the top simple so the interesting pattern of the red skirt was a great move too. It really stands out that way.

OOOH that skirt. The only size they didn't have it left in was mine! I'm crazy jealous of you that you own it. Love both outfits!

I am with you on that one @Annie!

Thanks @Kristen! It is funny that you say that about the jacket because when I saw it in store it did not look as interesting as it did online. But, once I tried it on, I was in love all over again.

Thanks @Taylor! I got really lucky on this one. It was a very recent find too. The only size left was a 4 and I usually wear a 6 in The Limited bottoms, but surprisingly the 4 fit.
