I have been reading a complimentary copy of Lisa Gansky’s The Mesh: Why the Future of Business is Sharing. The book explores the growing relevance of mesh businesses, that is, businesses that supply products and services through sharing. This book is a must read for us bargain shoppers as we have long been participants in the mesh network, hunting for treasures in spaces like eBay and thrift stores.
We bargain shoppers are concerned with acquiring items cheaply, but we are also constantly evaluating and reevaluating what is valuable to us. After some recent evaluating, I have identified two fabulously chic items in my wardrobe, one new and one used, that would be perfect to share in a giveaway for interested Economy of Style subscribers.
The first item is a brand new Laundry by Shelli Segal trenchcoat (size M) that I planned to exchange for another size, but forgot to do so. The second item is my beloved Marc by Marc Jacobs Natasha crossbody bag featuring the most striking gold hardware that I can only have limited contact with due to allergies.
Both giveaways will run for two weeks. The trench giveaway opens on November 19 and the MMJ bag on December 3.
Stay tuned!
