A getaway! A few weeks ago, I traveled to Montego Bay, Jamaica, for a family wedding. Since I was only going to be in Jamaica for four days, I wanted to travel lightly, which required that I packed efficiently. Here’s how I did it.
The Luggage:
My favorite carry-on bag is my Tangaroa holdall bag. I like to keep it light, so I also traveled with a pilot case that I could easily wheel through the ports.
Looks for the Day:
Top and skirt—Banana Republic
Fuchsia dress—Gap
Print dress—Express
Looks for the Evening:
Print dress—Ann Taylor
Black dress—Max Studio via Marshalls
Stripe dress—Ann Taylor
The Shoes:
It was surprisingly easy to resist packing several pairs of shoes once I found this versatile pair of black, snake embossed, leather thong sandals. I also took a pair of flip flops for the beach and gold sandals for wedding.
Sandals—MICHAEL Michael Kors via Marshalls

The matron of honor (me) and the maid of honor are wearing the unique styles.
I am in love with those shoes and that first outfit with the white skirt and ruffled striped top! You always inspire me 🙂
Gosh Girl–you LOOK SOOO GOOD in EVERYTHING you WEAR!!!
Luvee ALL the dresses! Your wedding dress is so cute–I like that you had a different style/but same color as the other bridesmaids–very CLEVER!!! LUVEIT!
I love the carry-on……..I haven't found anything worth while in Marshall's or TJ Maxx in a minute.
You look great! I am glad you are back posting again! I love your style.
you all look beautiful! its always hard for me to pack light – even though i'm a petite woman. you did a fabulous job at packing light and staying stylish.
I love black and white – its so crisp and clean for summer. My favorite is to pop it with my bright orange cross body bag (A marc jacobs turnlock one!) and cheapie flips from target.
