Classically chic. Shirt dresses are quite trendy this spring, which means they are widely available at varying price points. This is exciting news for those of us that always appreciate the look, versatility, and comfort of this classic style.
This spring, I’ve been particularly drawn to a couple shirt dresses. The first one comes from the Loft. It has chic details like a stand-up collar with cutaway neckline, patch pockets at the chest, and versatile three-quarter length sleeves that can be rolled or cuffed.
I’ve also been drawn to a military-inspired shirt dress at the Gap. This second fave has cool features like a drawstring waist for definition, a light interior that provides contrast when the sleeves are rolled, and a sexy shirttail hem. I am so fond of this dress that I got the khaki and chambray versions, on clearance no doubt ($32.99).
