Military Inspired Casual Look

So yeah. You’ve seen it on the runways. You’ve seen it on the streets. So, by now, you are probably standing at attention to the military inspired trend.

This season, I’ve been drawn to the Gap’s military anorak because of its army chic details like oversized pockets, funnel neck, and spectrum green color.  But, I remembered that I bought a similar jacket on a routine TJ Maxx stop last summer. This TJ Maxx find was a waist cinching Hilary Radley jacket pulled from an overstuffed, clearance rack at an unbelievable price—$20.

Today’s look features the jacket. It is worn with a sweater dress, tights, and booties for a casual take on the military inspired trend.

Jacket—Hilary Radley via TJ Maxx
Dress—Banana Republic
Tights—Merona for Target
Shoes—Nine West via Marshalls
