Good (Newport) News

Very pleased. The Newport News dress arrived, and it’s a keeper. The fit could not be better. The color is richer than I expected. The overall quality is sufficient given the price I paid.
The dress is worn with a skinny croc belt as an accent. Tan d’Orsay pumps and a tan bag complete the look.

These shoes disappear on my feet in photos, but they have such chic details.

Great dress Psyche, I love the pattern, very 50s! Really, really cute on you! How is the quality?

I thought about ordering something from them, but my sister told me she ordered someone from them a few years ago and the quality wasn’t all that. Let me know, cause I saw 2 dresses I wanted to get.

Capis: Thanks. This dress was a great find.

Seeker: Hope you are enjoying that vaca! Thanks for stopping by.

Budget Chic: I agree. I thought that bag would emphasize that 50s vibe too. The quality is sufficient. The dress was described as lined, but only the bodice is lined. The absence of the lining does not present a problem though. So, I am happy with it.

Ana: The floral print on this dress won me over instantly. Thanks for stopping by.

Kat: Thanks. A dress with a silhouette like this one can be style in many ways too. It’s quite versatile.

Always in Style: Yes, I sure did look at your post. It was a great pick, for this dress is even prettier in person.

Siljesfashion: I appreciate it. Thanks for coming by.

OneEighteen: Ha. Such a memorable scene!

Bananzattack: They are gorgeous and quite comfortable too! This was my first pair of Tahari shoes, and I’ve been hooked since then.

Cherry Blossoms: Wonderful! Which ones did you order? I hope they work out. You should do a post!!

Oh That Girl: Yeah…it is quite 50s, right? This is my favorite silhouette for a dress, so I am so happy it fit, for I lurve the print 馃檪

Ashleigh: Newport News really nailed this style. The print is so much richer in person. I am so impressed.

Elle: Classy and stylish. I like that. The great silhouette and delicate print exude just that, class and style.

Maddie: I am so glad it fits well. I have never ordered anything from Newport News, so I was a bit concerned at first.

Style and the City-Paris: Thanks. You too!

Nyah: Yes! I sure did. It is the floral dress I’ve wanted all summer.

Jacqueline: And those examples of public transport were absolutely fabulous!! Thanks for stopping by.

Imelda Matt: As soon as you can get the G5 fired up and here, I will be ready! And, yes you are so right, a dress like this deserves all the attention. It was such a steal.

Fly tie: Thanks for stopping by!

Enc: Those details excite me–ruffles, contrast stitching, two-tones. And, that dress was a wonderful surprise.

Kelly: Thank goodness for generous return policies then. I am satisfied with this purchase, and feel more comfortable ordering again.

Dana: Yes, yes, yes. This print is quite striking.

Couture Carrie: Thanks. The dress is so much prettier in person. I am impressed by that.
