Saturday Night Lime

Ok ok. Since I post my daily looks during the week, EOS mostly focuses on work outfits. This week’s posts will be different, displaying only weekend and going out looks.
I wore today’s featured look to a music bar/lounge last Saturday. The outfit comprises a soft knit purple dress (the night shot did not capture the color), with an empire waist, deep v-neck, and puff sleeves. It is worn with black tights (since it was freezing that night) and black t-strap pumps. A white oversized clutch completes the look.

Cute outfit. I am looking forward to seeing your ‘going out’ outfits. I could use ideas in this category. I have the work wardrobe under control, I think (could still use some tweaking, lol). I am on a budget so, its challenging to find things I can wear after work and on weekends that are cute, pretty good quality and not too expensive. I have some pieces but I have a hard time putting things together.

I am still stuck in a rut and I keep trying to put together outfits that are too ‘matchy’ instead of coordinating different colors. Sorry for the long comment, I am really glad to have bogs like yours as a resource.

Nikki: Thanks! I appreciate the “long” comment. Unfortunately, my going out photos are all on my sick laptop. So, I will have those look up once I get it back. I am hopeful that the recent system crash does not obliterate my files.

Now, I come from a place where fashion=matching, so I’ve been on an anti-matching crusade forever 🙂 I would love to see some of your looks too.

Budget Chic: I appreciate that. This photo is so dark that it’s hard to tell that the dress is actually purple. So, it is my little purple dress 🙂 It was on sale for $30 too.

Kira Fashion: Thanks for passing. Basic solids are so reliable.

Secretista: Ha. That plunging v-neck does “fox” a look up 🙂

Nic: Thanks for stopping by. I am now a big fan of black and purple now.

Enc: I appreciate that. A friend of mine told that I am always wearing dresses with necklines like this one. I just love the fit and freedom of a dress with this silhouette, so I stick to it.

Seeker: Thank ya. That clutch is one of my favorites. I am always happy to throw it into an outfit.

Siljesfashion: Thanks for coming by. I will definitely visit. I appreciate your concern about my PC. I remain hopeful 🙁
