Looking Back, Looking Forward

Back to basics. Today’s classic look features a perfectly fitted shirt—slim through the bust and fitted at the waist—in an intense red symbolizing energy and strength. The shirt is worn with a black pencil skirt and cinched together by a patent belt. Black flats and a print scarf complete the look.
This outfit has timeless appeal, and hence today’s modern classic.

    Capis: Thanks as always!

Enc: Yes, that combo produces a classic power look indeed. That belt sure helps out with accentuating the proportions.

    Saray: I appreciate it!

Starry starry fight: Thanks, I am really excited about it.

Diva: Thanks for the add and for coming by!

Fdiary: Thanks for that! You know, I think I agree about the scarf. I had a particular look for it, but this scarf was too short. So, I ended up tying it around my neck, which did not work as I had imagined.

Seeker: I am glad you are back!

Kira Fashion: I appreciate you coming by.

I love this look! I especially like the way you didn’t tuck in the shirt, and instead put a belt around it. I have been having issues witht the tucked in shirt. In your opinion, is this just as office appropriate? I think so!
    Thanks,
    Melanie

Mel: Ha. I, too, have always had issues with the tucked in look.

I suppose it depends on where you work. But, I definitely think the belted look is just as work appropriate (well, as long as you don’t wear like a corset in more conservative places). I wore this to work (it got a lot of attention, but good attention).
