B.Y.O.B. You would find me moving around the city (running errands on the weekend) in today’s non-work look. It features a deep green baby doll top adorned with bow and accordion pleats that is paired with a denim pencil skirt. Orange peep-toe flats and a green print scarf add chic finishing touches.
Of course, if there is even a remote possibility of buying something while moving around, I will have my eco-chic MK canvas tote because using plastic bags is so passé.
If I have to buy groceries, I bring a few more bags. I am glad I found a use for those totes that I always receive at conferences.

Foregoing plastic bags is one baby-step I’ve taken to become more green. What do you do?
Nice one. I like you in the baby doll top. I get those totebags too, and I use them for the same things.
Great outfit. I use tote bags also for grocery shopping. and also i politely decline a bag if the itme can fit in my purse. Every little bit helps. Happy Earth Day!!!
hello!
i love that scarf with the bag! so cool!
a kiss and a hug for you,
have a nice day,
Kira
I’m glad to hear that you’re doing something for Earth. It’s a responsability of all of us.
Nice outfit, according to the day 😀

Lovely scarf! I am going to have to use your idea of the tote bags!
Enc: Thanks. Don’t you feel better using totes? I sure do.
Diva: Tote bags are it! I sometimes feel like an eco snob when I have to decline the plastic bags, but like you said, every little effort helps. I get the strangest looks from clerks when I am mall shopping and decline the store bags.
Kira Fashion: Thanks. Have a wonderful day!
Seeker: So true. It is our responsibility!
Stacy: For sure. You’ll feel so good once you do. I just keep that stack of conference totes in my car for surprise stops. Thanks for stopping by!
