School-boy Chic

FYI. From elementary through high school, the mundane uniforms I wore to school every day greatly constrained my fashion creativity. So, trends described as “school-boy” aren’t immediately appealing. But, I just have to say, if my uniform had looked like this, school could have been even more inspiring.

This look features grey, lightweight wool, pin-stripe vest and matching shorts. The vest is worn over a white button-down shirt complete with old-school stripe, navy and red tie. Black argyle tights and black cap-toe pumps add some feminine touches.
