I’m a fan of loud leopard prints. The bolder, the better. As you can imagine, I’m beyond thrilled that the print is dominating fall trends. I wasn’t always as brave when it came to embracing the print though. Shocking, right? If you’re hesitant, I’m here to tell you that you can rock it too. And, an easy way to work it into your style is with accessories. My favorite leopard print accessories at the moment are fab pairs of leopard print shoes.
What I’m wearing:
Top | Pants | Pumps (option, option) | Bag | Earrings | Watch
My leopard print pumps are an old J.Crew Elsie style (see J.Crew’s latest leopard print shoes here). They’ve mostly taken a backseat to other pumps in my wardrobe. But, this fall, they shall be getting all the shine they deserve.
Top looks familiar? It’s my Enin top seen before here. The balloon sleeves and cinched waist make this top an easy choice. By the way, you should definitely check out the small, black-owned boutique where I found it. Grab a special code to get 10% off your purchase (click here for the code).

Target does it again. Over the last year, the retailer has been releasing multiple fashion-forward brands, like A New Day and Universal Thread. The latest one, Prologue, is a collection of smart, sophisticated, sharp-looking workwear. The items look expensive, but every single piece in the collection is under $50. Prologue launches on September 14. Here’s a look at what’s to come.

End-of-summer sales are in full swing as stores try to make space for fall arrivals. That’s great news for us because we can find style gems on mega sale. I have a few fancy-ish events to attend still this summer, so I’ve been scouting the sales for occasion dresses. Today’s featured Larke dress is one of those finds. Scroll to the end of the post for more selections.
What I’m wearing:
Dress c/o | Pumps (option) | Earrings c/o | Watch
Eyes: Urban Decay Born to Run palette c/o | Lip: Urban Decay Vice lipstick (66) c/o
My dress is the Larke Belle Ruffled Maxi Dress. I’ve been eying at Anthropologie all summer long because of its stunning blue hue and sophisticated silhouette. My local store never carried the style, though, so I wasn’t able to try it on. When I had the opportunity to partner with Larke, then, I jumped at the chance and knew exactly what I wanted.
I was advised to size up in this style, and that was great advice. The dress runs a size small. I typically wear a size 4 in styles like this one, but I needed a size 6. By the way, this dress has crisscross straps in the back, but I experimented by wearing the straps crossed in the front. The resulting look was a striking ruffled halter. Click here to see the actual neckline of the dress.
Dresses like this one are perfect for special occasions. It has interesting details and a flattering silhouette. Since the dress is doing all the work, I kept my accessories minimal. My earrings are by Alucik, a brand that specializes in collection pieces of jewelry. Alucik converts hand-drawn digital designs into detailed stainless steel plated patterns. This pair is plated in 24K gold, and the earrings remain in perfect condition after 3 years of wearing them (see them first worn here).

Occasion dresses now on sale:
I must admit it. I’m already looking forward to fall. There’s something exciting about seasonal changes, especially as it relates to style. Booties, loafers, blazers, sweaters, fall fashion gives us many more fun items to work with. I’m so ready that I’ve been busy imagining cool outfits to welcome the season. As a denim lover, many of those looks are anchored by my favorite skinny jeans (seen here and here). I used a few things currently occupying my fall wish list to create today’s featured fall denim style.
Fall denim style:
Blazer | Tee | Skinny jeans | Loafers | Fendi wrappy | Bag | Earrings
You probably already know that I have a thing for statement sleeves. Today’s featured puff sleeve tee is the perfect example of why I do. A standout sleeve can take the most basic item, like a red t-shirt, and make it look so sophisticated. By the way, the tee I’m wearing today is under $20 and also available in stripes (shop it here).
What I’m wearing:
T-shirt | Boyjeans | Gucci skinny belt | Loafers (similar) | Earrings | Watch
Eyes: Urban Decay Born to Run palette c/o | Lip: Charlotte Tilbury Red Carpet Red lipstick c/o
For reference, I’m wearing the tee in an extra small. It is very stretchy, so if you’re between sizes, you can size down.
