Making the rounds. Today’s look is all about comfort and warmth. A teal cable knit sweater is layered under a brown corduroy blazer and paired with a denim pencil skirt. Brown heavy knit tights act as sweaters for the legs. Red patent flats and a scarf complete the look.

‘Tis the season to shine. And, a tasteful silver pump allows you to do just that. Today’s pumps feature a sueded metallic upper, sultry peep toe and side cutouts, a center knotted bow, and a subtle yet eye-catching stitching detail. These flirty peep toes add brilliance to many looks.
Talking about brilliance, the $22.90 clearance price at Nordstrom made this purchase a no-brainer.

So yeah. Today is J’ouvert, the launch of Carnival in St. Kitts, and I am stuck here in the Lou. With SK on my mind, today’s post features a look created by Kittitian designer Judith Rawlins of Brown Sugar. It features a two-piece madras print long skirt and wrap top. I wore the outfit a few months ago at an international festival.

A reliable LBD. The empire waist, adjustable straps, and super soft lightweight jersey make this a dependable go-to dress. It is paired with a silk print scarf, mesh tights, satin strappy sandals, and a lace clutch for a frou-frou dinner.
