Plaid has been having a major moment this fall. It’s no secret I’m a fan of plaid style (see here and here). My favorite thing about this season’s check trend is that plaid is shaking off its stuffy reputation. It’s coming at you with edge and a whole lot of flavor. Today, I’m sharing how I’m styling some H&M plaid paper-bag pants.

This paper-bag style is available in a few print and color options. For under $30, they’re such a great find. For size reference, I’m wearing a size 6.
Paper-bag waist pants are so easy to wear. Simply tuck in your favorite top, and you’re fly. I did just that with this long-sleeve tee. By the way, I love this little tee so much that I bought it in 3 colors. It has adorable puff sleeves that give it an of-the-moment look. It’s only $17.99 from Zara, and I’m wearing a size M.
To finish my look and bring this plaid style into 2019, I threw on my leather jacket and a wool fedora. My earrings are the fabulous Deena Gold Drop style from Kendra Scott. They make a statement whether you rock them with jeans or a more formal ensemble.
