Colorful Jeans: The Denim Trend You Need this Year

This colorful jeans post is sponsored by J.Jill.

Move over, denim blue. Jeans are coming with a new hue in Spring 2018. What color, you ask? Whatever color you like. Furthermore, when you find that perfect pair, get ’em in all your favorite colors. When I first tried J.Jill’s Authentic Fit Slim Ankle Jeans, I knew I found some fabulous fitting jeans. And, the best part? They come in two print options and three colorways.

No surprise, I got them in white because you can’t survive spring and summer without a fabulous pair of white jeans. I also got them in a beautiful purple called “Pansy” because purple has finally gotten the respect it is due–color of the year status! Today’s post shares a couple ways I’ve been wearing my colorful jeans.

Purple Jeans

Just so you know, I’ve been a fan of J.Jill jeans since their denim leggings became my go-to pants for days when comfort is a priority. Listen, these slim ankle jeans are just as comfortable. And, the  purple color? It’s simply the perfect spring update for my wardrobe. They’d pair perfectly with white, chambray, and many other colors. Of course, I plan to have fun blocking colors. So, I’ve already been wearing mine with a lilac tee and a pop of yellow.

White Jeans

I can’t say it enough. A pair of crisp white jeans is essential for spring and summer. White jeans go with everything, from brights to neutrals. They can serve as the blank slate allowing a statement top to shine or stand out in a monochromatic look. I decided to experiment with a neutral combination that makes me smile. There’s just something so special about olive, white, and blush. Don’t you think?

Love both looks; the pop of yellow with the lilac is ingenious and I love the mellowness of olive and white. Will be duplicating.

PS – I duplicate so many of your looks!

Spring is my favorite season. Its the burst of all the pastels and brightness that makes those warm and breezy days so carefree and light. Both outfits exude just what spring is all about. I agree the lavender/lilac with the hint of baby yellow ushers in what spring is all about, while the sage and white is a little more subdued for those errands you need to get done before lunch. Weekend shopping on the square, having a bite to eat in an outdoor cafe with ya best gal pal and buying a fresh bouquet of spring flowers putting a end to an amazing spring afternoon….I’m here for it all 💜
