Starting the New Year in Comfort and Style

Happy New Year! I wish you all a prosperous and, of course, stylish new year. I’ve been busy setting more style goals for the coming months. In 2018, I plan to curate a look that’s sophisticated and at the same time relaxed. I want a wardrobe filled only with items that I love, look forward to, and enjoy wearing. I got a sneak peek of the denim leggings last year, and I couldn’t wait to share them with you. The fit is that great, y’all! These bottoms are a lightweight, super soft, five-pocket jean with a slim legging silhouette. I love the way they perfectly contour my curves. For reference, I’m wearing the denim leggings (available here in sizes 0 to 28 in petites, missy, and plus) in a size 8.

After running around all holiday season and even traveling in these denim leggings, I can happily report that they are ideal for a woman on the move. They fit fabulously, move when you move, and the best part? They hold their shape all day.

Denim leggings are so easy to style and wear. This season, I’m fond of tunics and long cardigans. Both look fantastic with leggings. In today’s look, I’m wearing a long grey cardigan (shop it at J.Jill here) over a basic stripe tee. To elevate the look a bit, I wore an old pair of print pumps. For colder days, these leggings tuck effortlessly into boots and booties as well.
