How to Maximize Holiday Sales to Your Style Advantage

Happy Monday! I walked into my local Anthropologie last Saturday, my first and only day out shopping during the holiday weekend. Shocking, right? Hear me out. This season, I’m shopping with a strategy that’ll allow me to shop holiday sales to my advantage. Here’s how.

Balloon-sleeve button-down | Jeans (under $30) | Tracy Reese coat (option, option, option)

Pumps (option) | Loeffler Randall bag (similar) | Lip: Fenty Beauty “Stunna”

How to Maximize Holiday Sales to Your Style Advantage

1. Make a list. I’ve written down everything that I need and even just want this holiday season. And, I’m sticking to that. Anthropologie has been surpassing my style needs over the past few years, so the opportunity to get 30% off everything was worth a visit. I visited to stock up on my favorite candles (in this size and this one). I also purchased the balloon-sleeve buttondown shirt (with a sale-on-sale discount) I’m wearing today because I’ve been wanting a longer white shirt to wear tunic style like shown today.

2. Do online research. I always browse the sites of retailers before visiting them in-store. I do that to gather as much information as I can to help me make smart purchases because holiday sales can make all the things look attractive. What are my options? What’s the price point? How much is the discount? Do I even need to visit this store?

3. Get free shipping. I never pay for shipping. Never. This time of year, especially on Cyber Monday, you can take advantage of all the no-cost shipping offers. There’s a dress (this Express plunge neck maxi) I’ve been wanting to try on that wasn’t available in my local stores, so I took advantage of a 50%-off-plus-free-shipping offer at the retailer’s site.

P.S. I also visited Sephora on my Saturday shopping trip to get that Fenty Beauty “Stunna” lip paint. I’m wearing it in today’s post. It’s the perfect red, y’all.
