Coat or cardigan? Today’s featured topper is a little bit of both, and I’m here for it. It’s getting chilly in St. Louis, so I’m officially in transitional style mode. And, the Haley Textured Topper from J.Jill is the perfect stylish and warm piece for genius layering.
If you caught my Ease into Fall with a Versatile Long Cardigan post, then you already know that I’m a huge fan of long cardigans for transitional styling. They’re functional and chic.
Today’s featured long cardigan is particularly special because of its standout style. It has impeccable details like a luxe-looking texture, black rib trim, and patch pockets.
What makes this cardigan even more special is its weight, which makes it much warmer than the typical cardigan. It’s so warm that it’s an ideal alternative to a coat.
It’s still a cardigan though. So, I can roll up the sleeves and have fun with styling.
Talking about styling, I love the look of long cardigans with pencil skirts as well. Here’s another way I’ll be layering the topper this fall.
I also tried it on with the Madewell Ribbed Mockneck Midi Dress in Stripe, and they’re a perfect match. By the way, If you’ve been searching for a dress like that one, the Madewell style is on sale for under $30 (original $88).
