Simple, Affordable Makeup Routine with 5 Top e.l.f. Cosmetics

This post is sponsored by Gordmans.

I’ve been a longtime user of e.l.f. cosmetics, a brand with some major hits and a few misses. When I started experimenting with makeup, e.l.f. made sense for me because the entire line is value-priced with products starting at only $1. Several years later, e.l.f. products remain among my staples because they perform well. While shopping Gordmans recently, I noticed several new-to-me elf products. So, I tried a few of them. This post shares my everyday face using my favorites from among those.

My everyday makeup look is natural with a statement lip. I love a bold lipstick, y’all. Naturally, I gravitated to the e.l.f. Studio Moisturizing Lipsticks that promise vibrant color with a velvety finish at only $3. Somehow, this lippie in Razzle Dazzle Red delivered on that promise.

I always start my face with brows, so I tried the e.l.f. instant lift brow pencil in deep brown. At only $2 each, it filled my brows perfectly. I, then, apply my usual foundation (in NC50) and concealer (in NC50).

Next step for me are the eyes. I very rarely wear eyeshadow, so I skipped e.l.f. shadows and went straight to the liners. I tried the e.l.f. Expert Liquid Eyeliner in Jet Black and was pleased with how easy it was to get my signature bold line. I then applied several coats of the e.l.f. 3-in-1 Mascara in Very Black. This mascara has a really cool brush that reaches every lash, but the tube doesn’t seem to hold much product.

Of course, I never leave home without blush. Therefore, I couldn’t resist picking up the e.l.f. Studio Blush Palette (dark). Four rich-looking blushes for only $6? This palette is my favorite elf purchase from Gordmans. The colors are so pigmented that I barely needed to dip my e.l.f. Studio Angled Blush Brush to apply color. And, did I mention there are four blushes for only $6?

Et voila! That’s my lazy-girl, affordable makeup routine.

Thanks so much! The lipstick is a really pretty color for fall.
