I love little dresses like this one because they’re easy to toss in a suitcase for a beach getaway and also perfect for layering in the city. Of course, I also love anything with a racerback, so this dress in its rich fuchsia color had my attention at first sight. For reference, I’m wearing the dress in a size small.
The dress also gives me a reason to slip on my current favorite sandals—the J.Crew Collection Mixed Gingham sandals. These sandals are currently sold out, but occasionally pop back online.
Last weekend, I put on the dress, tied a chambray shirt around my waist (as an emergency topper if it gets cold indoors) and was out the door.
