I thought about what that manicurist did and I’ve been testing it out on my nails. I’ve finally figured out her secret. There’s something special about the base and top coats that she uses. I’m bypassing critical steps to a lasting manicure because I’m sure you got those down, like starting with a clean and smooth surface and with nails that are properly shaped. I apply CND Stickey base coat, which is designed to anchor nail color to the nail. I then apply my color of choice. Next, I seal the deal with a coat of Seche dry fast top coat, a product that is supposed to penetrate all the way down to the nail bed and create a strong bond. I don’t know about all that, but it dries instantly and somehow prevents my nails from chipping and peeling.
2 secrets to a lasting manicure:
I’ve been using these products since June, and I’ve been wearing manicures all the time because they last now. I especially love the top coat because it dries so quickly that I can sneak in a manicure right before doing things that would usually ruin a manicure (like showering or going to bed).
