I’ve been doing my own nails for years. Call me frugal. Call me cheap. I feel like I do a good enough job not to warrant paying for that service. For pedicures, though, I would occasionally pay for a professional one. I usually do that when I feel like my feet need a little extra TLC, particularly all the spa soaking and sole smoothing. I’m even that customer who would get talked into getting the more expensive deluxe pedicure. Paraffin wrap? Sure.

Enter the Emjoi Micro-Pedi. Life changer! I used this bad boy and within minutes, my feet were smoother than after any deluxe pedicure I’ve ever paid for. So, the Micro-Pedi has a micro mineral roller (the blue portion in the photographs). This roller is naturally processed from stone, kinda like that stone you would normally have to rub and rub against your heels to get ’em smooth. The battery-operated Micro-Pedi, however, requires much less work. You flip a switch on, and the roller spins 30 times a second to safely and effectively buff and remove any dry, rough, or callused skin from the soles. Boom. Just like that.
One of the things I really like about the Micro-Pedi is that it works best on dry skin. There’s no need to prep your soles by soaking your feet. You just hold the Micro-Pedi (super easy to hold with its ergonomic design and rubberized grip) to your dry skin and let it turn your soles into baby soft feet. And, another thing, this tool which retails for $29.95 (with one roller) or $39.95 (with a bonus roller) is cheaper than my deluxe pedicures. Looks like my nail tech just lost a customer. Sorry, Tuan.
Disclosure: I received a Micro-Pedi for free for review purposes. I loved it so much that I had to share. As always, all of the opinions and images are my own.
Pedicures have gone from habit to a birthday treat in my house, so I might have to give this a shot!!
I heard that, Dacy. You would love this tool then.
