What I Wore: Mixxer Exchange Event in St. Louis

Last Saturday, I attended Mixxer Exchange’s fashion and makeup event at the Regional Arts Commission in St. Louis. The event brought together fashion and beauty enthusiasts from all over the city. Check out my recap of the event at Mixxer Exchange’s Fashion and Beauty Event a Success.

For the evening, I wore a black and white print dress with a daring split back detail. The dress by AQUA was a steal at Bloomingdale’s during a recent sale on sale. I spent a total of $35, including tax and shipping. It was so humid on Saturday that I wore a head wrap to avoid an inevitable natural hair disaster. The head wrap was also a cool choice because it introduced a clashing print and a few vibrant colors to the look.

I just discovered AQUA during the sale too. A bit upset as my items have yet to arrive. You look fabulous as always, and I love the idea do the wrap in a contrasting print.

That's cool. My order took forever to arrive too. Bloomies said they were updating their system or something like that. Hope you love your items when they get to you.

I heard that, Lydia. Black and white is always such a crisp combination.
