Tweed & Houndstooth

Wai Ming, a St. Louis-based contemporary women’s apparel line, made black and white memorable during Saint Louis Fashion Week with a collection filled with sophisticated combinations of the two colors.  The line masterfully fused texture, print, and sharp silhouettes, making its largely muted color palette stand out on the runway.  One of my favorite looks in the Wai Ming collection mixed tweed and houndstooth.  Today’s post draws inspiration from that look.

My Anthropologie “Mitzie Channeled” Tunic is made winter-ready when layered over a houndstooth shirt and worn with ponte knit leggings and boots.  My cozy, oversized, French Connection “Poodle” coat provides the perfect topper.

Gorgeous! I love black and white! I know it's probably very cold but the snow looks so great, like adding more white to the outfit lol
