One of my fashion-related goals for 2013 was to expand my jewelry collection. I’ve primarily worn fine jewelry because of contact allergies, but the price of gold in recent years made buying new pieces a challenge. I’ve since discovered, though, that many fashion jewelry lines use quality gold-plated materials that don’t irritate sensitive skin. Kendra Scott Danielle earrings are favorites. Vince Camuto jewelry has become a new favorite since finding a few discounted pieces in the off-price market.
Lately, I’ve be scouting the off-price stores for Vince Camuto pieces. Last weekend, I got lucky again and found a Vince Camuto “Hidden Gem Tassel” necklace on clearance for $40 (orig. $98) in TJ Maxx. This necklace is such a standout piece of jewelry with unique details like geometric stones, dangling tassels, and a double stranded chain.
Today’s look, an outfit planned for Sunday brunch, features the necklace. A black peplum top is paired with floral ankle pants. The tassel necklace, tassel earrings (also found on clearance recently), a stripe clutch, and red peep-toe pumps complete the look.
