Dots Meet Spring Hues

After reviewing photos for the Economy of Style: A Year in Review post, I noticed that I had only worn my J.Crew scatter-dot dress three times in 2012.  A dress so gorgeous and versatile should be worn more often than that, right? I insisted, then, on sporting the polka dot dress this week.

Today, the dress is worn with a few colorful accents.

Way to go. Love how you brought out those nice colors in the dead of winter. Looks great the way you put it all together.

Thanks, Stacey! We're always looking forward to the next season, right. My mind is on spring and spring colors.

I love how this look is light and bright, but still covered enough for a winter day!

Thanks! I've been working on trying to strike that very balance because while my mind is on spring, the weather surely feels like winter 🙂

Such a cute polka dot dress! I like it with the colours from the cardi and clutch 🙂

Thanks, Mica. This was a J.Crew purchase last year. I knew I wanted the dress from the moment I saw it. I waited it out, though, and was lucky enough to get one on sale.
