I can always count on Anthropologie when looking for a fabulous A-line skirt. I found the skirt featured today on sale in Anthro for $29.95 (orig. $68). My only regret is I couldn't get the exact same style in several colors.
Why is this skirt so wonderful? It's A-line, my favorite silhouette for my dewdrop shape. It has a beautifully designed elasticized waist line, which allows me to wear it high or low on the waist, and also ensures a comfortable fit. Talking about highs and lows, it has a subtle high-low hemline. It also has pockets.
I'm hoping that the newer striped and pleated skirt at Anthropologie fits similarly. If it does, I'll be watching it closely for markdowns.
