Fashion Thesaurus: Pleated Basic Skirt

The January 2012 issue of Redbook magazine spotlights a pleated basic skirt as the new go-to skirt this season.  According to Redbook, the pleated skirt “has the same superpowers as a black pencil skirt.”

I recently purchased a Cynthia Rowley pleated skirt on clearance in TJ Maxx.  It was marked down to $15!  Unbelievable, right?  Today, I pull out the Fashion Thesaurus to see if this skirt could really become a go-to piece.
