Over the past few weeks, I have noticed an influx of ads pushing varying white haute trends! I love wearing white, so I always stop and pay attention to these ads. I have been particularly drawn to the white acrylic glitz watch in the Michael Kors ads and have visited the MK website just to gawk at that watch a couple few times.

So, check this. I was strolling through my local TJ Maxx last week, got to the jewelry counter, and spotted five different white acrylic MK watches at almost half off the current retail prices! I tried on every single one of those watches, but walked away without one because a watch purchase would have pushed me over my May allocation for clothing and accessories. I itemize every single purchase I make in a spreadsheet (groceries, gas, toiletries,clothing, etc) and assess my actual expenditure against a proposed spending plan each month.
But, guess what? It is June now! I have been thinking about those watches since spotting them last week. I even called TJ Maxx on Tuesday to find out if they were still there and they were. So, I bought one. My watch has the white resin bracelet with pave set Swarovski crystals in gold. This watch retails for $225, but had a TJ Maxx price of $129.99. The other available styles at the Maxx ranged from $99.99 to $199.99.
