I’ve received a few requests to share what I am buying more often. This post is a haul of sorts, showing some of my favorite new acquisitions
Old Navy Roll-Over Jersey Maxi Skirt
Don’t you just love the flowing drape and all-day comfort of a jersey maxi skirt? I do and was so pleased to spot this particular skirt in Old Navy. It is made of a medium weight jersey that is not as sheer as some similar skirts I have tried. It is convertible, easily transitioning from a skirt to a dress. I am going to have fun styling this skirt all summer.
Jones New York Pashmina Scarves via TJ Maxx ($12.99)
Scarves are surely one of my favorite accessories. I recently found the most beautiful pink pashmina scarf by Jones New York in TJ Maxx (retail $30, TJ $12.99). I loved the feel, look, and versatility of the scarf so much that I returned to buy a green one too. My only regret is that I didn’t buy the other colors.
See how the green scarf provides the perfect cover-up for a dressy summer look.
MICHAEL Michael Kors Amber Thong Sandal via Marshalls ($39)
When is a flip flop more than just a flip flop? Perhaps when it is the MICHAEL Michael Kors Amber leather thong sandal with wide ankle straps, covered buckle details, front logo hardware, and contrast stitch details. I very much like the MICHAEL Michael Kors Logo Plate thong sandal that I purchased in Marshalls last year, so I jumped at the opportunity to own this Amber style at a clearance price of $39 in Marshalls this summer.
Calvin Klein Jeans Ray Moccasin via DSW ($39.95 after rewards certificate)
I’ve been holding a $10 DSW reward certificate for a few weeks; so on occasion, I browse my local DSW. Last weekend while in the store, I was stopped in my tracks by the Calvin Klein Jeans Ray moccasin. Maybe it was the turquoise color or perhaps the metal studs on the vamp or even the firm rubber treads on the sole. I do know that once I put them on, I was definitely going home with them. They were $49.95 and hence $39.95 after my rewards certificate was applied.
What have you been buying?
